About Us
Grace has been in business for appoximately 30 years. It is a private Methodist Preschool accepting all children ages 1 to Pre-Kindergarten. All teachers follow the curriculum written by the State of SC for Preschool and Kindergarten. South Carolina currently has the 2nd highest standards in the country. Hours of OperationWe are open Monday through Friday, September 5th through May 22nd. Hours of operation are from 9am to 12pm. Mother's Morning Out times are from 8:50am to 11:50am. Please see Important Dates for detailed information and school closings.
Enrollment PoliciesWe follow all laws and policies of South Carolina. All children must be the age of the designated class by September 1st. Our student teach ratios are as follows:

Our MissionThe mission of the Weekday School is to meet the educational needs of the early childhood years in a loving Christian environment. Each child is guided to attain their own potential – emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually and intellectually. Qualified teachers provide a varied and stimulating environment. Special emphasis is placed on the child’s active involvement in many experiences.

Our Staff 2008 - 2009All of our teachers are trained and qualified to teach and care for preschool age children. Each teacher must complete at least 15 hours of early childhood education training a year, and be CPR/First Aid certified. All of our teachers are loving and dedicated to the children of Grace.
MMO - Frances Mason & Mary Gale S.C.E.C.A. - Teachers and the Director are members of the South Carolina Early Childhood Association and the Southern Early Childhood Association. N.A.E.Y.C. - The Director is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. CPR CERTIFIED - All teachers are certified in infant / child CPR and first Aid through The American Red Cross.
